Kenn restored his 1959 Triumph Bonneville when he was 16. His appreciation for old things and hand built craftsmanship has grown ever since. In fact, he made a career of restoration, from old British bikes to old Ferraris and from 18th century French and American furniture to his own 18th century home. Consistantly in the top ten agents for sales volume, a member of Long and Foster's Gold Team , member of the Chairmen's Club and EcoBroker Certified® .

Walter graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the American Film Institute. Before transferring to Penn, he studied Architecture at the University of Michigan . He has restored several older homes in the Philadelphia area as well as in Los Angeles.

Growing up in Wayne, surrounded by the craftsmanship and style of such architects as Will Price, Brognard Okie , Frank Furness, and Walter Durham, as well as the purpose-built styles of the 18th century, can only lead to a comfortable familiarity with the living history of the Delaware Valley. The quaint downtown reality of Wayne and a first job as an usher at the Anthony Wayne Theater, the Memorial day parade up Lancaster Avenue and the way the “greene countrie” of Penn turns golden red and crisp for Thanksgiving, just in time for the leaves to drop and a light snow to be swept aside by merchants as the bustle of Christmas shopping begins and ends a cycle. It all  keeps Kenn and Walter close to the pulse of a Norman Rockwell reality that really does exist right here in our community.

To share this region and it’s history is to preserve it and restore it as a living set of buildings, whether clustered or sprinkled amongst latter development. Kenn and Walter know there are buildings that live and breath history. How these places are treated is how they become and how we care for them is an essential part of our legacy. From a job as an usher to the movies, armed with a flashlight, to a vocation as an usher to historic homes, armed with a lifetime of familiarity with the hand built; and from the academic study of Architectural theory to the practical experience of restoration, Kenn and Walter would love nothing more than to share these homes and history with others who can recognize and appreciate the depth of quality that is built into the bones of old homes.
